Analytical Marketing to me is about research, develop, test, and repeat – Listening and understanding the customer’s behavior. Analyzing behavior or trends of the past to make educated decisions for the future. Then, delivering the right message - in the right place - at the right time.
My approach is a comprehensive analysis to help identify gaps and take advantage of opportunities. I have a very straight forward Marketing philosophy and/or funnel that I believe in (REACH - ENGAGE - CONVERT) that maps out the strategy, identifies KPIs at each milestone, and drives results that are clear and carefully monitored through a custom dashboard.
Good question! What does success look like?
Marketing is planting the seed for future growth in your company. Building the reputation, trust, and awareness are the important ingredients but measuring it can be hard sometimes.
Depending on business goals and objectives, success to me is defined through your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You can assign metrics or performance indicators to everything you do from sales activity to attending an event. Ultimately, it comes down to delivering a project (or product) on time, on budget, and meeting the goals of the business strategy.
